HAVE YOU TRIED MEDITATION

For years I’ve been a sceptic or rather just not interested because I didnt understand the synergy between mental and physical health. More recently I have been exploring ways to better my mental state, reading in the evening, listening to relaxing sounds and practicing breath work. My next step is to try meditation no distractions, no screens; ideally outside.Meditation Nidra Yoga

I’m no meditation expert, but those who are claim incorporating this practice has been life-changing. You don’t need to meditate for 30 minutes to see benefits—just a few minutes can help. And don’t get caught up in the word “meditate.” It’s not about sitting in silence and emptying your mind immediately; meditation starts with just being still.

Over time, with practice, it’ll become easier to settle into a deeper meditative state, but it takes time and practice.

Meditation offers a wide range of benefits, with the most obvious being stress and anxiety reduction. But beyond that, regular meditation can improve focus and concentration, enhance emotional health, promote better sleep, positively impact the nervous system, and increase mindfulness and presence.

If you’re someone who struggles with sitting still or doing nothing, I recommend trying a follow-along yoga nidra meditation session. It’s a fantastic way to ease into meditation, especially for beginners. Here’s one I use to get you started:
